In most states, if you put a morning at the front door that everything inside is being filmed and in your case you could say and may be on UA-cam, then they have learning and I don’t think there’s a legal reason not to and I also think that you have removed any ethical problems because you have informed them. I think he’s also put something in there that says if you request not to be on UA-cam that you would make sure that their faces were blurred out or whatever which would also be legit. Clearly you needed a better security system than a GoPro but sometimes we have to go through the things before we find out the things. Honestly, for the kind of margins a thrift store would make I can understand why you didn’t have a more secure security system.

Several people that I know that were reselling have gone into ventures with storefronts and I think there’s a lot of disappointment in that area. It’s definitely a cautionary tale for me. I have resold on eBay and I also done some furniture refinishing as side hustle to my side hustle. I met people directly that way, but eBay worked great for me otherwise. It’s all a learning experience and we get things from that. All of the things we learned in life something and we can be the better for it or otherwise and I think so long as we keep moving forward, we’re going to be the better for it ultimately because we have learned things. Education is sometimes a little expensive.

I hope you reported them to the storage auction companies. The Public Storage by me had staff call out "due to family emergencies" so the tenants could not settle their bill during the week of the auctions. It seemed like the staff would have these "emergencies" weekly.

I am just amazed he is so impressed with the Bisbee. In my twenties my girlfriend and I , us two young girls drove from Virginia to Arizona and by chance landed in Bisbee. Ebay only has itself to blame. Ebay was working fine until they imposed extortionate fees. No one's going to want to sell at a loss. Plus no one negotiates on ebay anymore and your best offers for your items are ignored. You'd be as well to sell your items to cash converters or a second hand shop.

I use to be a seller/buyer on Ebay. But not anymore. Far to many scam artists on both sides. It use to be a great place to buy and sell, but its gone down hill fast

Do you have to be a licensed auctioneer yourself to auction your stuff on hibid? If not, do you have to find an auctioneer to surplus (or whatever its called) your items on hibid? How does that part work?

Lol i mean the thing is after selling trainers for a little bit on proper resale platforms, sold a couple on ebay and everyone in my trainer reselling group had the same opinion, they cant even verify it correctly and people abuse returns to scam sellers. The authenticity guarantee is a marketing facade, they lack the competence to see it through well.

I just recently sold a smart phone on ebay and thats the last time i’ll ever sell something on ebay. The fee were way too expensive.

I promote at 2.5% and you are correct. It’s a struggle to get more than 3 sales a day but I’m not paying to play. I’ve tried the 15% path and got 4 sales a day. Not worth it 😂
